Vacation food, continued

Fudgy brownies from Vive le Vegan:

I also made the chocolate chip muffins from Vive, but I don't have a picture, the lighting wasn't right.

Wolffie's Fiesta salad from La Dolce Vegan:

I also made "chicken" seitan from LDV to make Jay-lo's fried chicken, hopefully I'll remember to take a picture when I make it.
Its been a week of leftovers, trying to eat any perishables before we leave. So yesterday I had whole wheat penne with walnut basil pesto from Vive:

And to use up the brown rice I made the brown rice pudding for breakfast from LDV this morning...yummers:

Have yourselves a great weekend. I know I will! I'll take as many pics as possible of all meals I assemble while away from home :P

Wow, everything looks fabulous. Love the brownies and the pudding. Such great stuff... Y'know, sometimes i swear, i really wish the non-veggies of the world would try these sorts of things! So yummy... and no animal had to be harmed in the making of such great food.

I see that Sweeney Todd with Nick Gilder is playing. Roxy Roller! I'm really showing my age now, aren't I? Hope you had a blast and didn't die in the heat. It should be cooler there, I would hope!
All of your food looks fabulous! I've never made Dreena's chocolate chip cookies and woke up this morning wanting some chocolate chip cookies, so I might just do that today. The pasta looks to die for. I'm adding that to my list of must trys as well. Can't wait to see your pics when you return.
