Vegetable Chowder

As promised, the chowder from La Dolce Vegan. LDV has a few delicious chowder recipes. Oh, how I love soup!
No other new foods right now. Billy has a calculus midterm today, which I've been helping him out with. So we both ate leftovers last night while we studied.

I saw a couple of your comments on some other blogs about vegan parmesan cheese. Skip the stuff you buy in the store. Make this instead. I swear by it. It's so good. I usually keep half the batch in the fridge to mix up with water to make melty cheese and the other half in a parmesan shaker on the table. It obviously doesn't taste exactly like parm but it's such a terrific substitute. The flavors really go well with anything you would shake parm on. Let me know how you like it.

Thanks! I've actually had that recipe sitting in my vegweb recipe box but never got around to it. I was definitely thinking of making my own "parm" if I couldn't find any in stores. I can't wait...eggplant parmesan here I come :)
