Calling all Ottawa Citizens!

If there are any...have you ever bought a tofurkey in Ottawa, and if so, where? My MIL is trying to locate one for me.

Thanks!

There are a few places listed on Veg.ca: http://www.veg.ca/directory/o-Ottawa.html

"The Wild Oat – Bakery & Whole Foods, located in the Glebe area of Ottawa, just north of Lansdowne Park also deserves mention (817 Bank St., 613-232-6232). Originally a small natural food store with a counter and a few stools at which one could enjoy a bowl of chili or soup, Wild Oat has expanded to include more sit down space. Hot meals are available, in addition to deli items, although the selection is not large.

A large natural food store is located nearby, Kardish Food (841 Bank St. and other locations throughout Ottawa). Kardish stocks a large variety of bulk foods, including non-wheat flours, and spices, in addition to produce and other veggie foods. Also throughout Ottawa (including in Westgate Mall, Billing’s Bridge Plaza and a large store in the downtown Market area), The Natural Food Pantry carries a good assortment of vegetarian and vegan foods and products.

In addition to these, check out the listings at www.happycow.net for more restaurants and natural food stores. Enjoy your visit!"

I've seen the Tofurky Feast in the Loblaws in Barrhaven and at Merivale and Baseline too!

I know it's too late, but Herb & Spice on Bank (near Gladstone) has it.
